Climate Crises in Rio de Janeiro

This publication, developed by Columbia Global Center Rio de Janeiro, explores the essential role of urban parks in addressing the climate crisis in the city. It highlights how green areas can mitigate urban heat islands, improve air quality, and increase resilience to extreme weather events.

I led both the communications strategy and the visual design of the report — ensuring that its content was not only accessible and compelling but also visually engaging. My work included crafting key messages, collaborating with experts and partners, and designing a layout that enhanced clarity and impact. The final product supported public awareness and advocacy for nature-based climate solutions in urban settings.
